Welsh cakes and daffodils for St David's Day at Mossfords in Cardiff

Welsh Delights in the Office

Happy St. David’s Day from all of us at Mossfords!

Today, we’re taking a delightful short pause from our usual routine to spend some moments celebrating this special day in Wales. While we may not be donning traditional Welsh costumes or parading through the streets, we’re still embracing the spirit of the occasion with our own little office celebration.

Plenty of smiles, treats, chatter, and of course – Welsh cakes!

A Taste of Tradition

Welsh culture is rich with traditions, and St. David’s Day has always held a special place in the hearts of Welsh people everywhere.

It’s a time to celebrate our heritage and our national pride.

For us at Mossfords, it also proves a fantastic opportunity to come together as a team and share in some festivities.

Indulging in Welsh Treats

As the day unfolds, the team are indulging in some classic Welsh treats – some more than others!

This includes plenty of delicious Welsh cakes but on this occasion there was unfortunately no slices of Bara Brith – a little known traditional Welsh tea bread.

It’s true… look it up!

There’s nothing quite like the taste of sweet goodies to lift our spirits (especially on a Friday!) and evoke fond memories of past St David’s Day celebrations.

Warm Wishes to All

So, as we raise a toast to Saint David and all things Welsh, we extend our warmest wishes to everyone celebrating across the country (and those Welshies abroad!).

May your day be filled with joy, laughter, and plenty of Welsh cheer.

Happy St. David’s Day from Mossfords!
